Two Timin'

I don't think I could not put this on our blog to remember and look back on and laugh at every now and then. This post is dedicated to my 'two timin' husband...This past weekend David had a few business meetings up north, therefore me and B stayed home due to the fact that I had to work all weekend too. When he goes on these little trips of his we always joke and talk about not allowing the other to take a "hallpass" while we're away from each other. For those of you who have not watched the movie hallpass..it's a little vulgar so you're probably not missing out too much, but it was a little funny to me. Basically the husband/wife gives their spouse a hallpass to go out and do what they want with who they want. I won't get into it any more than that...ha! Anyways...he wasn't allowed a hallpass, just to get to the point =). But he took one anyways! Well in my dream that night, that is. I don't know why, but the more I think about it the more it just cracks me right up. For those of you who get offended easily you may want to stop reading now. I don't think it's crude, but you never know? It just cracks us up though! Said Husband gets home from his business trip and we talk about his drive and prospects bla bla bla..Next he asks how I slept last night because when he got home he startled me when he got into bed and I was a little distant the rest of the night. When I started to look back on it I realized I was..but I had good reason..because he had done this "hallpass" thing and acted like things were just fine....hahahahahaha. Okay so in this dream of mine David let me know he took a hallpass while he was up at his business meeting. But it couldn't be considered cheating on me because it was just sex. Seriously? C'mon...haha. His exact wording in my dream went as follows," Babe, I know I took a hallpass without your permission, but you can't consider it cheating..it was just sex, everyone has to have it." Wow. Just typing this makes me laugh. I've been having the weirdest dreams lately, but that one definitely takes the cake. So in an effort to celebrate the fact that this two timin' episode was just a crazy dream we had to celebrate...We had Two Timin' Pasta for dinner =) I love my husbands hilarious personality and the fact that he found this just as funny as I did. And can I just tell you it was the most DELICIOUS dish I've had in who knows how long, and not to mention it only took 30 minutes total to make it!Woo! So for those of you who want to celebrate the great feeling of knowing it was "just a dream" or if you just want an amazing quick and easy dinner let me help ya out...

TWO TIMIN’ PASTA BAKE

1 box penne pasta

1 (15 oz.) jar Alfredo sauce

1 (24oz.) jar Marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Cook pasta according to directions and drain.  Mix the sauces together in a large bowl.

Add the mozzarella and stir to combine.  Then toss in the penne and toss to coat.

Pour pasta into 9x13 baking dish and cook on 350 for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.  Remove from oven and sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
